As a small charity we are dependent on the skills and enthusiasm of volunteers, without whom we could never provide the range of support and services that we do. If you think that you would like to volunteer for Cam Sight please contact shelley@camsight.org or phone Shelley or Joy on 01223 420033 for a chat. This page contains two sub-headings providing a paragraph with more detail on how you can volunteer, and a general list of areas where your skills might come in use. End of Summary.

Volunteering at CamSight.

Cam Sight is a small charity with only a few paid staff. We very much welcome and value the additional support that our volunteers provide. In fact, without our volunteers, Cam Sight would be unable to provide many of its services to local visually impaired people.

If you think that you would like to volunteer for Cam Sight please contact shelley@camsight.org or phone Shelley or Joy on 01223 420033 for a chat. We will then arrange a meeting where we can talk about the organisation and what you might like to do with us. Depending on the type of activity you want to be involved in, we will organise appropriate training for you and carry out the necessary background checks. Once you have started to volunteer for Cam Sight you will meet regularly with a member of staff who will make sure that the work that you are doing is right for you. We want your volunteering experience to be rewarding for you as well as for Cam Sight. End of Section.
